My shop is on the electric utilities wind and solar power and I take care to minimize use with fluorescent and LED lighting and efficient power tools. The shop is also super insulated to keep heating and cooling to a minimum. The wood is purchased from a mill in Wisconsin that is certified by FSC for sustainable practices. Tried and True Original Oil a 100 percent Linseed oil and bees wax finish that provides a relatively hard surface with no VOC's or heavy metals to pollute our environment or your home is used on all of our manufactured products. For custom work environmentally safe products are incorporated when possible. The design process for any of the products is not complete until the dimensions allow for efficient use of the wood so there is little waste.

Even in the shipping process we strive to show care for the environment. Reused news print is the main packing material. Other cushioning material and all boxes are made of recycled paper. This allows you to recycle all of the packaging. USPS is our carrier since they will likely be at your home each day this produces the lowest transportation environmental foot print.
